The collections in the Air Museum comprise more than 30 aircraft from the Danish history of flight including:

... From 1906 The Ellehammers aircraft (replika), first pow. flight in Europe
... From 1912 The B&S monoplane, first Danish military aircraft
... From 1945 "Workhorse of the air", Danish Airlines (DDL) DC-3 "Dakota"
... From 1949 Gloster Meteor MK IV, first Danish jet aircraft
... From 1956 Hawker Hunter, first Danish supersonic aircraft
... From 1959 The SAS Caravellen, first Danish passenger jet
... From 1965 The F-104 "Starfighter", Denmarks fastest aircraft

The exhibitions comprise ballons, gliders, the Danish-built KZ-aircraft, an S-55 helicopter, flight simulators and more than 700 scale models. Exhibitions with selected topics include: Air Trafic Control, Aircraft Engines, Flying over Denmark during WW 2 and Space Flight.

The Air Museum is collocated with The Car Museum of Denmark and the Falck Rescue Corps Museum in Center Mobilium. Center Mobilium includes a café, a shop and many activities for children.

In die Sammlung ist Ballons, Segelflugzeuge, die dänischgebauten KZ-Flugzeugen, einen S-55 Hubschrauber, Flugzeugen, einen S-55 Hubschrauber, Flugsimulatoren und mehr als 700 Masstabmodellen. Sonderausstellungen umfassen: Fluglotzen, Triebwerke, Fliegen über Dänemark wärend den 2. Weltkriges und Raumfart.

Das Center Mobilium besteht aus Das Flug-Museum Dänemarks, Das Automobil-Museum Dänemarks und Das Falck Rettungsdienst-Museum an einem Ort. In Center Mobilium ist einen Café, ein Laden und viele Aktivitäten für Kinder.

I flyvemuseets samlinger findes også balloner, svævefly, de dansk byggede KZ-fly, en redningshelikopter, flysimulatorer og mere end 700 skalamodeller samt særudstillinger med flyvekontrol, flymotorer, "Flyvning over Danmark under 2. Verdenskrig" og rumfart.

Flyvemuseet indgår sammen med Danmarks Bilmuseum og Falck Museet i Center Mobilium. Centret har café og kiosk samt mange aktiviteter for børn og en særlig skoletjeneste.
